School Teacher on Devils' Island 1940's

My father Cyril Randall taught school on Devil's Island for a year in the 40's - does anyone have any record of the class or the student he taught. Maybe someone he taught will see this and remember. Him and I have been looking for information on the school - he boarded on the Island with the lighthouse keeper.
